Our Brand

PUTNAM is a well known brand of taxi seating. James PUTNAM initially registered his brand of taxi seat products in the1980’s. Because of the liability and innovative ideas of his products the brand had established itself as a major taxi seating product among the London taxi companies. Putnam moved premises to Plymouth from where he was unable to continue to service his London based customers as effectively as he had used to. Southern Alarm Systems, then the agent for PUTNAM products bought the taxi seating brand from PUTNAM and continued serving the London based customers.

The two main product ranges are the PUTNAM and PUTNAM FLYER.

PUTNAM is the original taxi seat product with the PUTNAM FLYER being a newer version.
